John Scales, founder of JWS Research again sat on the panel that voted on who is making an impact and wielding influence in Australia in 2020. This year, due to pandemic considerations, the panel was partially conducted virtually, moderated by Editor-in-chief of The Australian Financial Review, Michael Stutchbury.
The panel consisted of Former foreign minister, Julie Bishop, Professor of global biosecurity, Raina MacIntyre, director of DPG Advisory Solutions and Foreign Investment Advisory Australia, David Gazard, Vice-chancellor and president of James Cook University, Sandra Harding, campaign strategist Tony Mitchelmore, National managing partner of KPMG, Paul Howes, business leader Nicola Wakefield Evans, and businessman, political strategist, Warren Mundine.
Unsurprisingly, power in 2020 is mostly determined by how leaders confronted a year of crises.
